VALUATION DAYS - BICESTER HERITAGE We will reintroduce our regular valuation and photography days this year, on the last Friday of every month. During these days, our specialists are available to evaluate your modern, popular or historic collectable car for sale and should you wish to proceed then photos and videos will be carried out. You can either leave your car with us in our secure storage facility, or drive away and deliver closer to the sale day. Due to the current national lockdown in the UK, we will not be running our valuation day on 29 January, however we are able to take advantage of the technology at our fingertips, and can arrange a video call in order to inspect the car virtually and then discuss with you suitable estimates and reserves. #FridayFettle An update from the Team on their extracurricular activities this week! An update on Rob’s Sand racer project. With the nights being long, low temperatures and lots of rain the Model A Speedster hasn’t really moved along as I had hoped. That said some progress has been made. Eagle eyed readers will see the lack of my normal workshop drink in these pictures, I’m currently ‘enjoying’ Dry January! The radiator has now been mounted and hoses in place, why did I ever think this would be a simple swap…. Oliminium based over the road from us at Bicester Heritage modified the bottom hose so that no longer hits the dynamo. They also lazer cut for me a new bulkhead which has been designed with extreme scientific tooling – a long bit of sting and a Sharpie 😀. This has been mounted on the chassis and now ready to fit the scuttle fuel tank, and throttle levers. I couldn’t resist a mock up with some tape…… Body work (or lack of it) will be made soon. Next job is wheels, I’ve got some 17” rears and 21” fronts which will need painting and fitting with new rubber. I hope you are all using this third lockdown to finish work, or start it for that matter on your cars or motorbikes. Roll on spring so we can get back out there – hopefully!

Vintage Tyres is open for business. Tyres can be ordered on 01590 612261 or at vintagetyres.com. They are currently shipping orders out three times a week.

Holden Vintage and Classic have had a very busy couple of months on their website Holden Vintage & Classic and they have continued to trade and are despatching orders daily. The last few weeks have seen a lot of NOS (New Old Stock) items get packaged and sent off to new owners all over the world.
